Ashtanga Yoga Dvd David

Which of Rodney Yee’s Yoga DVD’s will eventually allow me to sit in full-lotus?

If none of Rodney’s DVD’s will do the trick let me know of another DVD that will. I used to use David Swensons Ashtanga DVD but it is too long and hard, I would prefer something more focused on flexability and to be between 30-60mins.

I would suggest practicing the four poses listed under heading “Preparatory poses” which follow instructions for Padmasana (Full Lotus) at Yoga Journal.com.

Plus, would also recommend adding Agnistambhasana (Fire Log pose).

Above all, be careful, be mindful, be patient.

Try not to allow yourself to become too goal driven.
It’s just not worth tearing a ligament or such.
It may be trite, but I think it’s true: the journey is more important than the destination.
